Submitting a representation intake is preliminary and does not create an attorney-client, practitioner-client, or representative relationship. Intake does not authorize IRS contact, sign a power of attorney, stop collection, extend deadlines, or guarantee acceptance.

Representation begins only after conflict review, eligibility review, formal acceptance, and the required separate written engagement and authorization documents. Until then, the customer remains responsible for notices, payments, filings, deadlines, and communications with taxing authorities.
